Love in the Time of Music  for string orchestra was commissioned and premiered by the Eastshore Regional Orchestra.

The work is built upon the concept of "two" or a pair, sometimes working in tandem and at other times in opposition. The piece centers around a slow dance that takes on a bluesy feel as it gradually builds to a climax. The technical challenges lie in the meter change, rhythms and a few large and sudden interval leaps. This is a fun and accessible work great for advanced high school, university or community orchestras.
