Pieces of Eight (1999 rev. 2002)  is a percussion ensemble for eight players written in a minimalist style. Some sections are written in strict meter, while other phrases are left to the discretion of the conductor or performers.

Instrumentation: glockenspiel, crotales (two 8ves), three vibraphones, three marimbas (4.3 oct) and timpani (five drums).
